My usual source stopped selling Pure Leaf matcha packets. I love the quality, flavor, color and versatility of this nutritious tea; which I use mostly for lattes, nice cream and in baked goods (cupcakes and cookies).
Considering the quality of this tea this is a very nice amount for the price. I’ll use it more and will continue to purchase it in bulk if it is offered at this price!
I’ve been buying « fresh » matcha powder locally paying $5 an oz.
Not only is this product cheaper (¼ the price) it’s also STRONGER and extremely fresh in comparison. Highly recommend this product.
I have been using this product for almost a year, I love it! I add it to my protein shakes in the morning for it’s medicinal benefits! I won’t lie…I even like the taste of it as well!
I got sick of paying $4 at Starbucks for my green tea lattes. I keep the Starbucks cups for the measurements but this is as good and I make mine with organic milk.
I have been on the hunt for sweet matcha powder that dissolved easily in cold/icy conditions to make my own matcha green tea iced latte instead of getting one from SBUX for $5 and out of all the matcha sweet powder I have tried so far, this is, by far, one of the better ones. Dissolve and mixed easily in cold liquid. Already on my 3rd bag. I make my own every morning and save $5!

This is a killer deal. Great flavor, not quite as dark green as the higher grade, but for someone who drinks two plus cups a day, that is a small concession. Container keeps it fresh. One scoop with a spoonful of stevia, sugar, or other sweetener, 10 oz of steamed milk and it’s as good or better than anything you’ll get at Starbucks. I invested a few dollars in bamboo whisk and a battery operated foamer to make matcha lattes.
Great flavor Matcha – most of what we do are green tea type lattes and this works fantastic. Be aware of the instructions on the small amount to use, it is full of flavor and strong so the little bit goes a long way – will last a good while. The scoop it comes with is a huge help, it may settle down to side or bottom of container but easy to fish out.
Best quality and quantity Matcha green tea for your money! Smells great! Mixes well in the blender or with whisks! A spoon isn’t gonna work!!!
I have been buying another brand of organic Matcha powder for a couple of years now. It’s a great product that comes in a foil lined bag. However, it does have a very earthy flavor. I don’t sweeten my matcha, so I got used to it
I’ve been using this same brand of Matcha in all of my protein shakes for the added health benefit and it has a mild taste that never throws the rest of the shake flavor off. The consistency is fine like baby powder.
This is not ceremonial high grade matcha but for the price I got a generous amount of tasty matcha.
From research it is a good antioxidant tea
This came in the mail today for Fathers Day so we had it to celebrate, tried it with raw honey warm and another with whipped milk,,, I used my Mocha Mix. The color was nice, the smell and the flavor was also nice. Packing, can was clean and attractive and now sits on my counter……..it arrived quickly
Good Matcha and a good vendor. I like this stuff and it is a tenth of the cost of many on the web. I purchased many cans and it is consistently good.
